Deniz appears in the final round of the Éva Marton International Singing Competition, where she will present a selection of arias alongside fellow competitors.

Deniz performs Rachmaninov songs with orchestra to accompany Opernhaus Zürich's Anna Karenina, a ballet by Christian Spuck based on the Leo Tolstoy novel. Conductor Paul Connelly leads from the podium.

Deniz debuts the role of Bradamante in Christoph Loy's revival production of Handel's drama of magical proportions, featuring Cecilia Bartoli in the title role and Magdalena Kožená as the heroic knight Ruggiero. Conductor Giovanni Antonini appears at the rostrum.

Baroque Orchestra La Scintilla
Deniz performs the mezzo-soprano solos in Bach's St. John Passion, BWV 245, with Zürich's own Baroque Orchestra La Scintilla. Conductor Riccardo Minasi leads from the podium.
In Barrie Kosky's revival production of Eugene Onegin, Deniz debuts the role of Olga alongside Konstantin Shushakov in the title role. Kirill Karabits conducts.

As part of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Karol Wojtyła and the 42nd anniversary of the inauguration of the pontificate of John Paul II, Deniz appears as the mezzo-soprano soloist in Beethoven's 9th Symphony under the baton of Fabio Luisi.
